iDo Hair is more than a brand. It is a movement. The concept was brought to fruition out of the creative genius of Liza " Queen E" Franklin, a licensed cosmetologist and educator of over a decade. She felt a burning desire to promote the pride that comes with being a hairstylist in the midst of mainstream America. Most of her friends were in the same field and and she realized all hair artists experience a love for their industry which is like no other. In her heart, she likened being a hairstylist to a marriage of lifestyle, not just a career. In a flash, "iDo" Hair was birthed and accompanied by the trademarked mantra, "Being a hair$tyli$t is more than a hu$tle, it's a life$tyle."

in 2013, Queen began building her brand by selling quality hair extensions and custom iDo Hair apparel. Meanwhile, she was confronted with a host of hair issues within her family. She experienced a loss of hair due to stress, her daughter was plagued by a hereditary scalp condition. Many of her clients joined the "beard gang" and needed a moisturizer. Queen immediately tapped into her Southern roots and vowed to find a natural home remedy to garner a solution to all three problems. Lightning struck yet again when she was blessed with the formula of an all natural scalp and beard oil. She began using it on her  natural hair clients, clients with extensions, and male clients. The demand became too overwhelming for her to make what they were calling,"the best oil ever" available for retail. She decided to name it after her daughter Ma'Kai and added magic to the name because the results were so unreal that they seemed mystic. Successfully, since 2014 she has began retailing the versatile miracle oil and the rest is history
